London Ratha Yatra 2016

Lord Jagannatha’s Rathayatra is celebrated all over the world. Come and join in for a 48th London Ratha Yatra. Rathayatra is the International Society for Krishna Consciousness biggest street festival. Featuring three huge, wooden chariots pulled by hand in a grand procession. All the way through the Rathayatra festival there is singing, chanting and dancing to rhythmical drums and cymbals. Anyone can join in. The procession ends with a festival and a delicious vegetarian prasadam feast – served free of charge.
Ratha Yatra will start at Hyde Park, South Carriage Drive at 11.30am and Procession will start at 12 noon. It will reach at Trafalgar Square 2.30pm. Thereafter there is Dance, Live Music, Kirtan, Prasadam until 5.00pm.
