Welcome to ISKCON

For over 50 years, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), popularly known as the Hare Krishna Movement, has shared the transformative practice of bhakti-yoga with millions around the world.

We are a vibrant, global spiritual community rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom and guided by the teachings of our founder, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who came to New York in 1965 at the age of 70 with a mission: to share the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita and the practice of loving devotion to Krishna with the world.

We seek to build a society rooted in spiritual values—where harmony with nature, respect for all beings, and inner fulfillment are not ideals, but everyday realities. Guided by the teachings of Lord Chaitanya and our founder Srila Prabhupada, we aim to inspire hearts and transform lives—locally and globally.
